• Kirkmirren Cottage guests have the bonus of the wonderful Screel Hill walk starting from their doorstep!

• Estate boundaries: don't worry about "going over the edge" - there's no law of trespass in Scotland, and the neighbours are friendly! You don't even need to know where the boundaries are. All that's needed is responsibility, courtesy and common sense, e.g. shut gates, don't let dogs chase sheep, etc.
