Sunsets

Great places to sit on a rock and enjoy a coastal sunset:

• The estate's side of Orchardton Bay, looking back across the bay to watch the sun sink behind Screel Hill - magical.
• Many spots around Kippford & Rockcliffe - a sunset view from Rockcliffe beach can look strangely exotic;
• Port Logan on the Mull of Galloway (a little over an hour's drive west) is even more exotic than Rockcliffe - complete with palm trees!
